  • Pulte maintained 10 different merchandise and fulfillment suppliers to accommodate the local needs of various Regional Offices, making it difficult to monitor and control brand integrity, spending and costs.

Marketing Approach & Solution

  • Mercury developed an online e-Procurement platform for Pulte to consolidate ordering and fulfillment of all printed collateral and promotional merchandise via a single online resource:
    • eStore maintains all corporate pre-approved materials for convenient access by all Regional Offices nationwide.
    • Pulte corporate has visibility to inventory/order activity via real time reporting and tracking tools for improved service and quality control.
  • Dedicated Mercury service team provides ongoing turnkey management of eStore on Pulte’s behalf, including: Product Sourcing, Inventory Management, Reporting, Billing and Customer Service.

Results

  • Pulte was able to reduce their fulfillment/merchandise suppliers from 10 different companies to one, with Mercury as the single source supplier solution.
  • New e-platform achieved cost savings of 25%-40% in year one and has continued to be utilized 6 years running.
