  • Owens Corning challenged Mercury to take over a long-term branded merchandise relationship to enhance creativity, improve service and generate savings.

Marketing Approach & Solution

  • Mercury designed a new branded merchandise eStore with 24-hour shopping access for all Employees, Partners and Affiliates to purchase Owens Corning merchandise:
    • By working with the Owens Corning Sales and Marketing teams to understand budgets, marketing initiatives and event calendars in advance, Mercury developed merchandise solutions to complement and enhance the brand.
    • The online merchandise store is easy to use and features a unique collection of apparel and business accessories imprinted with the Owens Corning logo.   All items were carefully selected to deliver a unique blend of quality and style at affordable prices.
    • Key eStore features include:
      • Customization by brand
      • Inventoried and on-demand merchandise
      • Special order requests “Idea Center” with over 2,000 additional products to choose from
      • Seasonal specials, Eco-Smart, and “Pink” items

Results

  • The new eStore launch received tremendous support and excitement from the internal Owens Corning team including: a launch announcement, video, signage and an all-day event at Owens Corning headquarters.
